Community Service Unit - Orillia Detachment

    Orillia Detachment Community Service Unit is comprised of two (2) full time police
    constable positions, a Special Constable position and supervised by the Detachment
    Administrative Sergeant.

    There are six (6) components to duties involved with members of the unit. The components
    compliment each other allowing for Community Policing initiatives to be highly active
    supporting the five O.P.P. Promise strategies and current Detachment Business Planning
    objectives. The six (6) components are:

    1) Media Relations
    2) Elementary School Resource Officers
    3) Community Traffic Safety Officer
    4) Community Service Officer
    5)Crime Prevention Officer
    6) Crossing Guard Program Administer
